What does Awake Keeper prevent?
While active, it prevents idle system sleep. You can separately choose whether it should also prevent the display from turning off.
Does it change my Windows power plan?
No. Awake Keeper applies a temporary awake state while the switch is on. Your normal power settings remain in place.
What happens when I close the app?
The awake state is released and Windows returns to its normal power behavior.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in, subscription account, or cloud profile.
Where is my session history stored?
Your 10 most recent sessions and preferences are stored locally on your PC. Awake Keeper does not upload them to an external service.
Does it track what I do on my computer?
No. It records only Awake Keeper sessions and related settings. It does not inspect your documents, applications, browsing, or keystrokes.
Can the screen turn off while the PC stays awake?
Yes. Turn off “Keep the display on” to allow the normal display timeout while still blocking system sleep.
