License to use the app
IAM_DEV grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Awake Keeper for personal or business purposes, subject to these terms and the Microsoft Store terms that apply to your acquisition of the app.
What Awake Keeper does
Awake Keeper requests that Windows prevent idle system sleep while its main switch is active. You can optionally request that the display remain on. The app also stores local preferences and awake-session history.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app only on devices you own or are authorized to control.
- Confirm the awake status before relying on it for an important task.
- Ensure that keeping a device awake is appropriate for its power source, cooling, physical environment, and organizational policies.
- Turn the app off when continuous operation is no longer needed.
No guarantee of uninterrupted operation
Operating-system updates, shutdowns, restarts, security software, device policies, hardware events, power loss, or other conditions outside the app's control may interrupt its operation. Awake Keeper is not intended for life-safety, medical, emergency, or other uses where a sleep interruption could cause injury or material harm.
Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, interfere with Store licensing, distribute unauthorized copies, use the app unlawfully, or attempt to use it to bypass device-management or security policies.
Updates and availability
Features may be improved, changed, or discontinued. Updates may be delivered through Microsoft Store. We do not guarantee that every version will remain available or compatible with every Windows device.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Awake Keeper is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IAM_DEV will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the app.
Privacy
Our handling of app data is described in the Privacy Policy. The app does not require an account and keeps its settings, history, and diagnostic logs locally.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the app or applicable requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use of a later version after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
