Summary: Awake Keeper does not require an account, does not include advertising or analytics, and does not upload your session history or settings. Its application data stays on your PC.
Effective date: July 29, 2026
Information stored by the app
Awake Keeper stores only the information needed to provide its features:
- Preferences such as interface language and whether the display should stay on.
- The 10 most recent awake-session records, including a generated session identifier, start and end times, duration, display choice, operating-system label, wake method, and the reason a session ended.
- A rotating local diagnostic log containing operational messages and errors that can help troubleshoot the app.
This information is stored in Awake Keeper's local application-data folder on your PC.
Information we do not collect
Awake Keeper does not create user accounts and does not collect your name, email address, contacts, documents, browsing activity, keystrokes, screen contents, or the contents of other applications. It does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.
Network use
The desktop app's interface communicates with its own local service on your computer. Awake Keeper does not send its settings, session history, or diagnostic logs to IAM_DEV or another external service.
Microsoft Store may process information related to downloading, licensing, updates, crash reporting, or Store use under Microsoft's own terms and privacy policy. That processing is controlled by Microsoft, not by Awake Keeper.
Data retention and deletion
Awake Keeper automatically removes older session records after retaining the 10 most recent sessions. Settings and local logs remain on your PC until they are removed through the operating system or the app's local data is deleted. Uninstall behavior can vary by Windows configuration, so remove the app's local data separately if you want to ensure it is erased.
Security
Keeping data local limits its exposure, but no storage method is guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Anyone with sufficient access to your Windows account or device may be able to access local application data.
Children's privacy
Awake Keeper is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. Because it does not operate an account or cloud collection service, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated before or when the changed version is released. The effective date above identifies the current version.
